It’s good that the Lib./ Conservative leaning _New York Times_ did the article. But I will not praise the paper and have walked away from it starting when they helped elect “Man, Woman, Car,” and wrote many articles destroying Sen. Bernie Sanders and have the newspaper staffed with Neo-cons. They stand against the demos ruling. Sorry I did not read the article (wanted to give context as to why) but saw that it was written. Horrible sexual misconduct was indeed and something dark and sinister and HIDDEN. What was not hidden and was in plain sight once he got connected to power, he began anti-union stance and giving into the establishment that he tried to take on. He made a remark that he was not challenging capitalism in any way( you can find the exact quote sorry. It is around.) Since capitalism is so much in need of all the other isms like sexism, racism, and ableism, ageism, and classism ( and I’m sure I forgot a few sorry) I was so angry. The UFW fell apart long ago from how it began. He was a disgusting man as power corrupts us humans. We need more horizontalism between people and Chavez didn’t stand in any way for thst.
