In August, I went to your business for the first time. As I was exiting the building on my own terms, the bouncer hostilely informed me that I could not take my glass of water outside. I was visibly annoyed with his toneย but immediately complied, putting the glass down. Does this exchange warrant your employee deliberately following me outside to throw aforementioned glass of water onto me? Is that an appropriate response to have when an unthreatening individual has already removed themselves? After some processing, I opened the front door to ask the employee for his name. He charged towards me, putting his hands on my chest. When I told him not to touch me, he proceeded to push me to the ground. My housemate asked the same bouncer if he could explain what transpired. While admitting to his actions, he called me a โ€œstupid c*nt with no redeeming qualitiesโ€. When she asked for his name, he threw her to the ground near the exit.ย Who determines what level of force is used and when? Is he properly trained to keep his emotions at bay and implement conflict resolution strategies? A customer then continually negged us, escalating things further. One of the main roles of a bouncer is to screen for aggressive behavior, and he failed miserably when that same customer put a fucking cigarette out on my hand. Heย failed a third time when two women started punching me in the head and a physical altercation ensued at the foot of your building. Your security guard lied to other patronsย about me being booted, ultimately giving themย the green light to act like vigilantes on his behalf. He consciously did nothing to prevent or stop the events that unraveled on the sidewalk of your business. 10/10 unsafe establishment
