I am sort of afraid to take trips by myself. Before I moved here, I just pretty much gave up on traveling. I got real lucky, and found this to be a chance to expand my travel just a little. I have to take a nerve pill just to leave my apartment on the weekends. That is another story.
I have a car, a GPS, I am still overwhelmed. I have a partner that is a mess too. We have laughed at how scared we are to take day trips, and yet we just travel around Portland for things to do.

Get a real map and plan ahead. That might help.
My problem is I look up where I want to go, pop the address into the ol garmin, look it up in Google maps, print it for extra backup info in case the garmin loses it’s satellite and we’re rarin to go. Sometimes we get there after a few “what the f….’s” and this is a dead end hello! Sometimes we say “what the f…., we wanna go home to hell with Trader Joes or the thrift shop or that pretty Ukrainian church let’s go get high. Life’s just that way I guess. Good luck on your future jaunts and thanks for I know you wish us well on ours.
I/A, just take public transportation and or go by Amtrak to see the sights. We will all be safer with you off the road.
sounds like someone kept the nipple in their mouth for too long.
