…not some cash cow for city hall to use for nicer trappings and life’s finer things. Portland Water Bureau has one fucking job, One…to deliver clean, safe water to the residents. Apparently it can do neither, all while billing the recipients some of the highest rates in the country. City Hall, you have no business billing people for something that we cannot live without. Water is a Human Right.

The report calculated Portland’s water bills assuming that folks are billed monthly, even though customers are billed quarterly.
