Like the idiot I am, I went and left a movie off this week’s 2016 film preview. I mean, true, I left off a bunch of movies, but most of them I left off because they’re going to be stupid. This one I left off because I’m an idiot.

To make up for my mistake, there is, at least, a brand-new trailer for that left-off film: Lo and Behold, Reveries of the Connected World, in which Werner Herzog examines the “fragile, new world” where everything is connectedโ€”and everything is vulnerable. A lot of the best Herzog documentaries (and narratives) deal with nature as something we’re dependent on and threatened by; I can’t wait to see what it looks like when Herzog stares into the frail, soulless expanse of the tech system we now rely on for our survival. In other words, it’ll probably be exactly like Live Free or Die Hard.

Lo and Behold premieres at Sundance later this month; a Portland release is TBA.
