If you’re a Takashi Miike fan like me—or if you love watching an artist who’s f-bombed in the head do his thing, check out this trailer for his newest flick Yatterman which according to Film Drunk is a “a big-budget, live-action adaptation of classic anime.” And though I have no earthly idea what’s going on, it involves J-pop superheroes who dance like the Spice Girls, sexy villains, a robot pig—and what else? Oh, yeah! Nuclear destruction. Check it out, this is a goddamn hoot.
Bang bang, choo-choo train, let me see you shake that thang. Wm. Steven Humphrey is the editor-in-chief of the Portland Mercury and has held the job since 2000. (So don’t get any funny ideas.) More by Wm. Steven Humphrey

What the fuck is wrong with Miike? He’s like the McG of fucked up Nippon-cinema.
Nothing whatsoever is wrong with Miike. Just watch Happiness of the Katakuris. He is oh-so-right.
