Paul Thomas Anderson’s totally-not-about-Scientology-JK-it’s-totally-about-Scientology flick The Master has started screening, in 70mm, every once in a while—sometimes as secret, surprise screenings, other times as announced events which, I imagine, sell out in about .002 seconds. Until it comes out, the rest of us will have to make do with clips like these—there are two more up at The Master‘s site. All three are both frustrating and awesome, in that they are awesome and dammit I wold like to see this movie already.

Yeah, me too… but I think I read that he’s a scientologist? I can’t remembro.
you’re right — i, too, remember reading that he once flirted with it, or something — i can’t find much about it.
but, from the looks of the clips, it appears he’s going to give the whole thing a good reaming.
