The Wolverine starts screening at midnight tonight; despite going in thinking it was probably going to be as shitty as X-Men Origins: Wolverine (or, at best, as underwhelming as X-Men: The Last Stand or X-Men: First Class and holy shit there have been a lot of X-movies), I quite enjoyed it. Would I recommend it? That’d depend on who I was talking to, but I can say as someone who likes the X-Men and who likes friendly grizzly bears even more, I thought it was fun!
What I will recommend to everyone is this supercut of all of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine screams, because such a thing, as far as I’m concerned, constitutes a public service announcement.
