Mere months after the release of To Be Still, Alela Diane has reappeared as a member of the Headless Heroes. Their debut record, The Silence of Love, features Diane and Eddie Bezalel covering songs from Vashti Bunyan, the Jesus & Mary Chain, Nick Cave, and tons more.
The first single from the record (out May 19th) is a cover of Daniel Johnston’s timeless “True Love Will Find You In The End,” a song previously covered by Wilco, Basia Bulat, Beck, and countless others. The band (who will be touring later this year) also has a time-lapse video for “The North Wind Blew South” posted right here. I had you at time-lapse, right?
