Remember when we were all giddy about the formation of the Corin Tucker Band? Well now the band—the former Sleater-Kinney frontwoman plus Sara Lund (Unwound) and Seth Lorinczi (Golden Bears)—is scheduled to release their debut LP, 1,000 Years on October 5 via Kill Rock Stars. Now you can hear the first single from the record—perhaps it’s one of the songs she originally penned for the Twilight: New Moon soundtrack—the upbeat, S-K sounding “Riley.”

  3. It´s so awesome that it´s always referred to Band Members as “Formers”. Not that I would not enjoy other Bands of the SK power Trio. But hey, it´s SK. Sorry.
