Lou Reed died today. His cause of death has not yet been announced, although he underwent a liver transplant in May. Reed made four perfect albums with the Velvet Underground, followed by a lengthy solo career. He wrote many great songs that you know very well: “Sunday Morning,” “Sweet Jane,” “Perfect Day,” “Walk on the Wild Side.” He will be hugely missed.
