After a year of waiting, it’s here. Tonight is the start of PDX Pop Now!.

It’s sort of like Christmas morning for followers of local music, except there isn’t the soul-smothering disappointment of discovering that Santa got you a graphing calculator instead of that NES Power Glove you specifically asked for. What’s a matter old man, you can’t read my goddamn wish list? I can’t play Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out! with a freakin’ calculator!!

Um, anyway, moving on. Tonight’s schedule is below, and just in case we haven’t mentioned it enough, the all-age festival is taking place at Rotture (two stages, indoor and outdoor) and is totally free.
