Tickets for Pickathon 2020 go on sale tomorrow, and I’ll say what we’re all thinking: Show me the lineup already! While we’ll need to wait until “early February” for the official lineup announcement (according to a recent promotions mailer), the hoards of you who wouldn’t miss Pickathon even if your favorite cousin was getting married can secure your passes, packages, and camping arrangements while everyone else is busy trying to cop some of Beyoncé’s new Ivy Park/Adidas line. General admission tickets to Pickathon go on sale at 9 am on Saturday, January 18.
In recent press materials the festival has repeatedly promised that, in addition to its new all-inclusive “Patron Pass” option ($1,250), Pickathon “will look and feel completely different in 2020.”
I don’t know about ya’ll but I’ve basically already started planning my summer plans around it.
While we wait on that lineup, here is Texas country artist Garrett T. Capps performing “Here Right Now” at Pickathon’s after-hours Starlight Stage last year. The song is from his 2018 album In the Shadows (Again), and here he performs it for seven and a half minutes!
