Hey there, struggling musician. Chin up. I know it’s hard to make it out there as a musician. I know there’s plenty of competition, and lots of other players who are as good as or better than you. Yes, it can be hard to get gigs, to get fans, to be heard, to stand out in the crowd. But I’m here with some encouragement, with a positive message to motivate you. Because, no matter how hard you try with no results, no matter how badly you feel you are failing, no matter WHAT you do—you will always be better than these guys.

End Hits: All the numbness in the world will never make that performance comfortable.

There is real pain, it’s not receding…
Thanks for posting this, you are quick on responding to news tips about very dreadful things affecting society. I’ve had this guy’s “personal echo’ stuck in my head for the last day, it won’t leave!

What’s worse: Sucking or not knowing you suck?
I have to point out two definitively freaky or peculiar things about the 1/3 of this video I just watched.
One has already been pointed out, the singer, or “singer”, uses his own incorporated human delay (do not, I repeat, do not underestimate the power of this. Beck Hansen, used this same method in his song “Ozzy”, to a much better impact).
And what really blows my mind, is that the guitar player with the black what it seems to be a goth SG model, has at the headstock of the guitar, an acoustic guitar vibrations tuner. That takes it all home and tops everything. That must be in a new version of Spinal Tap, when they decide to make the new one. Oh, don´t even watch the Jazzmaster. No. Don´t.
Wow, speechless.
I can’t finish it. That’s fucking awful. Besides, who in their right mind would try to cover that song? It’s so idiosyncratic – the song only works because Pink Floyd (or an extremely convincing cover band, in full make-up/costume with a light show) could pull it off.
WOW! That retroactively makes me feel better about my horrible college band.
@Fruit Cup: The Scissor Sisters covered it, and they mostly pulled it off by doing a total genre shift.
Ah, that makes sense… but I guarantee that the Scissor Sisters probably had make-up and a light show. 😀
