On Wednesday night, Patterson Hood of Drive-By Truckers played the Doug Fir (read our article about Hood, and his extended visit to Portland, here). He regaled the crowd with stories and songs about touring with DBT in the early days, songs about family and marriages, songs from the upcoming Truckers album English Oceans, and maybe a song about sister-fucking thrown in for good measure. It was a terrific show, and if you missed it, Hood fortunately has two more shows left in his residency.

So… We’re giving away two pairs of tickets to see Patterson Hood (and opener Fernando Viciconte) this coming Wednesday, January 15. To enter, hop on over to End Hits, where the action is.
