@Disgusted, I don’t think the vast majority of this publication is meant to be taken seriously, nor should it be. I see your point however. Am I alone in not really taking the Mercury seriously? I doubt it.
I would wholeheartedly suggest that TriMet invest in better security however
Given the amount of shootings, stabbings, robberies, and sexual assaults that occur on TriMet (on a routine basis,) it’s in really poor taste. Mocking a serious problem in which people are serioushurt, some with their lives altered forever, is not cool. Even for a paper such as this.
I agree — public transportation is such a problem and a menace! Like cancer. It should always be treated only with the respect, fear and horror that it deserves.
