Mr. Jenks: It's not the highest bill you get when you adjust it to a monthly amount, like most of the rest of your bills. If we want to compare, let's turn it into a monthly amount, and then let's compare to things like:
Your car payment
Your mortgage
Your credit card bill?
Your gas/electric bill
Your cell phone bill
Your property tax bill (monthly)
I could go on, but why?
I'm not a rah rah supporter of the current situation, but statements like this just make me want to dig my heels in.
To be fair, pdxMB, I didn't fully go into Jenks' statement because it felt unnecessary. He went to clarify that, even monthly, the bill would beat most of his except for property tax and mortgage.
