How will this affect drivers who come in from Washington? Will they still have to go through the same processes (tests etc)? I feel like they should add a general direction test as well as I can't tell you how many times I have had to turn-by-turn guide my Lyft drivers, which is partially beside the point of not driving myself.
Insurance companies will eventually rein in these rouge outfits, by refusing to insure the drivers for commercial purposes, if the standards are any less than commonly stipulated for taxi cabs. The first major traffic accident, will bring them all to a screeching halt.
