As a public figure (somewhat anyway) he should be careful of what he posts, even if true.

I dunno, I am totally with black lives matter around the need to end police brutality, and so I can see how his tweet is pretty tone deaf since a major focus of the effort is changing the culture of police officers who either are racist or who protect other cops who are racist (kruger comes to mind), however on the other hand as an employee who has been forced into compulsory overtime around a holiday I can understand his frustration. I think his tweet was a bad idea, and shows a lack of awareness as well as a lack of willingness to listen to other viewpoints, but I think "Ignorant Racist PORTLAND OR COP COMPLAINS" is kind of overkill.
