Following Thursday’s chaotic demonstration, protestors once again took to Portland’s streets Friday night—marching across downtown, onto several bridges, and into Saturday’s early morning hours.

The protests began peacefully, but led to police using flashbang grenades and pepper spray to disperse participants, and one man being wounded in a shooting on the Morrison Bridge.

  1. Portland, and OR on the whole, did their part Tuesday. These protesters need to take their cause(s) somewhere that might actually have a positive impact. Destroying property and disrupting the lives of people that support their cause(s) is counterproductive, moronic, and pathetic.

  2. This isn’t “protesting.” Protesting is a constitutionally protected right. This is just spoiled little brats throwing a temper tantrum because they didn’t get a participation trophy for voting in the election. They prove true each and every stereotype used against them. They are hellbent on destroying their own local economies and will eventually pay the price for their stupidity, their reckless behavior, and the wanton destruction they are visiting on the hard working people of their city and state.

    BTW, insurance policies do NOT cover damage due to civil unrest. The local business owners will have to pay for ALL of this damage.
