You’re close, fixednews001, but it was more immediate than that. This fbi black op was supposed to force Sam Adams into kowtowing to the feds’ and saltzman’s trying to get Portland’s resources under complete fed control with no local oversight or even information, complete surrender to fed control whenever they said so. We are fortunate to have an experienced Police Chief turned Mayor (at the time) with much well earned street cred who told the feds to take a hike. So the fbi used this kid via a Middle Eastern handler to run a “terrorist” attack on Portland. If you can talk kids into strapping on a suicide vest, how hard would it be to take over an intelligent, high valued young mind, and , especially, a young person who is grieving the “death” of his family (divorce), and who has seen, via YouTube, the kind of psychopathy we were doing to his people.

Certainly Mr. Mohamud was the perfect profile to manipulate, but prior to the fbi corruption there is no evidence he had even fantasized ANY act here in the U.S. This is pure fbi political manipulation of Portland and Mr. Mohamud a convenient and disposable prop.
