THE TIGHTER THEY GRIP THE MORE LIKELY THEY ARE TO CREATE MORE DISSIDENTS. IT’S ALSO HELPING TO HIGHLIGHT THE CRACKS IN IN THE PARTY BETWEEN THE RURAL AND THE URBAN MEMBERS OF THE POLITBURO. @Graham – I thought the numbers in the columns were the median incomes for each of those groups? Reading something like “The median income for people in the bottom 30% was $15,530.” or “The median income for people in the top 10% was $51,500.” And therefore the 120% column didn’t make sense.
You’re saying that the numbers in the 100% column are the midpoint for the total population, and all the rest of the numbers are just measured out from that? Thanks, I didn’t get that. I wonder why they only have the bottom half of the chart, then? I want to see the whole thing.
