The ironies of this thing are just too juicy. It goes where COWARDS are too scared to go, to confront the hopeless disenfranchised who have nothing to lose, and “protects life” (whose?) using the most cowardly weapon of all… THE TASER… so long as the victim stands perfectly still that is.
I don’t anticipate much problem working around this thing. Once it shoots and misses, you can walk over and turn it into scrap. Your adversary will be bankrupt in no time. Or just wait for the jolt to wear off and walk home. Right? I mean this little Wall-E isn’t gonna be able to detain you.
Therefore I don’t think they will deploy this unless it carries lethal force.
It was good that he wasn’t wearing shirt. If the guy had been say, wearing a heavy coat or something, he might have had to get tased several times before he noticed anything was going on, (I mean, besides the fact that the robot is loud and all that.)
