Good morning, Portland. Some very sad news to start us off: Portland City Commissioner Nick Fish died of cancer yesterday. He was 61.
I will remember Nick Fish by his delightful flower-patterned ties, his eagerness in my thoughts on the news, his support of local media, and his ability to treat me with respect and kindness even after I'd written something unfavorable about his office.
