An ugly scene in Southern California, where a man walked into a special needs class at an elementary school and shot his estranged wife and two children. The wife and one 8-year-old child died. The attacker committed suicide. Guns and safety.

Commissioner Chloe Eudaly has now pushed out the directors of both the bureaus she oversees. On Monday, longtime Bureau of Development Services Director Paul Scarlett announced he’s out at the end of this week. He’ll take a year’s pay to salve any hurt feelings.

Place your bets! Will the Trump White House completely flub the yearly Easter Egg Roll? Or just mostly?

Any of you old-timers remember a worse Spring?
