Prison Is Hell: Another woman who was previously incarcerated at Coffee Cree Correctional Facility is now suing the Oregon Department of Corrections. This woman, like the others who have come forward, allege that a nurse working at the prison exploited her sexually.

Juvenile Justice: The Oregon Court of Appeals ruled yesterday that Oregon’s juvenile sentencing practices are unconstitutional. The decision came one day after the Oregon Senate passed Senate Bill 1008, which would reform juvenile criminal justice in the state.
