Though this video does show a man running down two Occupy Oakland protesters for daring to bang on the hood of his Mercedes, and though it also shows the aftermath of the vehicular assault, the worst part of this whole event isn’t on the video: The authorities took the driver’s information and then let him go.

    In March 2003 I saw people in cars running down protesters in Portland while the police just stood by and watched.

  8. Just like those critical massholes when you put your hands on other peoples property be ready to pay the consequences. I support the movement but don’t fuck with peoples shit, you will be run over, head bashed in or shot. The group frenzy actions will be the downfall of the movement but I think violence against the 1% might be the only way to get them to do the right thing

    Pedestrian illegally crossing the street, turn and violently engages a driver who has so far done nothing.
    Pedestrian is part of croud, that has shown propensity for violent action when confronted.

    As the driver of that car, hypothetically speaking, I would be afraid for my safety, and the safety of my passengers, and would immedialtly, and by any means neccessary, extract myself from the location.
