This new website, Occupy George, is combining two of my favorite things: Graphs and money.

They have templates for rubber stamps you can use to transform dollar bills into infographs.

This is far superior to my previous rubberstamp scheme of Obamadollars.

  1. “Top 1%” and “Bottom 90%”? So that 9% that are doing quite well for themselves but not THAT well … saw no income growth during those decades?

  2. -EXPCITE-
TITLE 18 – CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
    PART I – CRIMES
CHAPTER 17 – COINS AND CURRENCY

    -HEAD-
Sec. 333. Mutilation of national bank obligations

    -STATUTE-
Whoever mutilates, cuts, defaces, disfigures, or perforates, or
unites or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank
bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national
banking association, or Federal Reserve bank, or the Federal
Reserve System, with intent to render such bank bill, draft, note,
or other evidence of debt unfit to be reissued, shall be fined
under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.

  3. “…with intent to render such bank bill, draft, note,
or other evidence of debt unfit to be reissued…”

    Please read the entire statute….

  4. In theory, it could be a very effective campaign. In practice, I’m confused how one can make a pie chart using only 91% of the data.

  5. I fully support this campaign. For years now, i’ve been marking out the word “god” on all the bills i pass, in an effort to protest this brazen violation of state and church.

  6. It’s inarguably childish and ineffective. I can’t wait for the more organized iteration of #occupy. I wish the current organizers weren’t such leadership-phobes/consensus-whores.
