After claiming earlier this week that the Climate Change Industrial Complex is purposely fostering panic in the approach of Hurricane Irma—the Category 5 hurricane that is expected to slam in Florida this weekend—Rush Limbaugh has apparently decided to flee the state himself, Media Matters reports.

"I'm not going to get into details because of the 'security' nature of things," Limbaugh said on his radio show Friday, which is recorded in Florida, "but it turns out that we will not be able to do the program here tomorrow.... We'll be on the air next week, folks, from parts unknown."
While Limbaugh refused to discuss his travel plans, he will, presumably, be flying to safety in his $54 million private jet and not waiting in standstill traffic with the rest of the little people.
If and when he returns, Limbaugh won't be the only climate change denier who may find his own property under several feet of water: Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump's golf-course-away-from-home, was evacuated Friday. But even if Irma doesn't take out Mar-a-Lago, climate change eventually will. The Guardian reported last year that "water is already creeping up bridges and advancing on access roads, lawns, and beaches because of sea-level rise" near Mar-a-Lago. In just 30 years, the grounds at Trump's Florida retreat could be under a foot water for two-thirds of the year—further proof that there's a silver lining to everything, even climate change.
