Check it out: I co-hosted Outlook Portland this past Sunday morning, with David Bragdon. We quizzed Steve Novick on his recent Senate bid, and he quizzed us on the Columbia River Crossing. In between, Bragdon and Novick talked about paradigm shifts in D.C., and whether a President Obama would usher in another one, a la Reagan or FDR.

It was wonk-errific, and a total blast. Check out the first part here, then click through to KCRW’s YouTube page for the other short segments.

And please ignore the part where I inadvertently smack my clip-microphone, while emphasizing a point. Like I said, this was my TV debut.

  1. Way to go, Amy!

“I could not get excited enough about Jeff M. to write an endorsement…”

Holy crap. OUCH! HONESTY! ON TV!

And then Novick had to be like, “of course we’re all super-excited about Jeff’s campaign, now…”

Oh, of course, Steve. When are you on again!?

  2. We Tivo and watch Outlook Portland regularly. Huge dorks, I know. Anyway, we thought this was the best yet. You and David – and you and Steve – are a great team! Color me impressed.
