This is even more unthinkable than all the other unthinkable stuff that’s been previously reported in the Washington Post:
The National Security Agency has secretly broken into the main communications links that connect Yahoo and Google data centers around the world, according to documents obtained from former NSA contractor Edward Snowden and interviews with knowledgeable officials.
By tapping those links, the agency has positioned itself to collect at will from among hundreds of millions of user accounts, many of them belonging to Americans. The NSA does not keep everything it collects, but it keeps a lot.
When does this bullshit get into illegal territory? Or does the PATRIOT Act just make everything okay?

The NSA has said that this story is wrong and it doesn’t do these things. The stories about “spying” on millions of communications in France and Spain were also debunked.
Glenn Greenwald is an activist, not a journalist, he doesn’t understand any of the technical details of the programs he’s talking about, and he’s being very sloppy with the facts and insinuations about these documents, going well beyond what they actually “say.”
Furthermore, private companies already have all of this data on your because you give it to them. Your phone company has the “metadata” on all your phone calls and could probably sell it if they wanted to. Google sells websites a tool called “Google Analytics” which tracks way more on your internet behavior than the NSA captures.
Does the Mercury use tracking and data gathering software on its visitors?
Of course they say that this story is wrong Blabby, but trust me Google and Yahoo, they’re not that protected. Hackers by the dozens work for the Government. People get busted for Hacking all the time, and 6 months later who do you think hires them?
Hackers get into Federal Banks. If they can get into there, they can get into Google and Yahoo easier and faster than a stripper taking her clothes off. And if the NSA has “secretly” broken into their Data Centers, They’re going to deny their involvement in cyber-crime. Of course they are!
This is why I never take a full body junk pictures showing my face, Greg Oden.
Anyone who thinks they can do anything on the internet and have it go unnoticed is a fucking dummy. You know those big long End User License Agreements you never read and click “I accept”? Yeah, you don’t own your Gmail, Facebook, or Twitter accounts.
Hey dipshit, Greenwald doesn’t work for the WaPo.
I believe you all radically overestimate the quality of talent that federal institutions hire to build their shit (on the above the board budgets that will get yelled and screamed about if they go over estimates) and radically underestimate the quality of talent that federal institutions hire to break into shit (on the black book budget that literally has no bottom).
