Morning, I am starting to get calls about Chief Sizer’s request for an independent investigation. I will confirm that both Chief Sizer and Multnomah County District Attorney Michael Schrunk have asked the Attorney General to conduct an investigation in connection with the actions of Portland Mayor Sam Adams. Chief Sizer believed that asking the Attorney General to take responsibility for the investigation would assure all Portland residents that the investigation was impartial regardless of the outcome. Chief Sizer is in the office today but has a severe cold and has lost her voice. Questions regarding the investigation should be referred to the Attorney General.
