YO! Have you filled out your Census forms yet? Well, here’s a public service announcement from the 1990’s boy band Fresh Force, who use rap and phunky-phresh steppin’ to remind us that filling out the Census not only helps our community, it’s ice-cold cool, baby! Word to your mother! (Who should be counted as well.)

Are you just totally in love with Fresh Force? Here’s another dreamy example.

Bang bang, choo-choo train, let me see you shake that thang. Wm. Steven Humphrey is the editor-in-chief of the Portland Mercury and has held the job since 2000. (So don’t get any funny ideas.)

  1. Hey, and just think: now they have to run commercials assuring the good folk of our land that it’s *safe* to fill out census forms.

You know, for the bible-believing among us, the census inevitably leads to Slaughter(s) of the Innocents, so I can see where they’d be frightened.
