Look, I don’t know your mom, but if I sent a bearded and most likely heavily tattooed man to my mom’s door in a tutu, she would definitely mace him. So, I don’t think I’ll do that.

However! If your mom is the kind of mom who would get a kick out of a visit from the Portland Beardsmen, here’s an opportunity for you: The bearded group will be making pre-Mom’s Day flower deliveries on Friday, May 8 to raise money for the Uprise Books Project. You can tailor your delivery by selecting a particular beard type, and tack on extras like a polaroid with your surprised and hopefully delighted mother and her tutu-wearing beardsman (the tutu option appears to be mandatory).

The project is called Beards ‘n’ Roses, they will deliver within the Portland metro area, and orders must be placed by May 5. You can go do that right here.
