I still don't understand this logic. Gay people WANT to join the fucked-up world known as "marriage?"

Rather than change laws to recognize rights for the unions that involve gay people.

Marriage is what is fucked up. Marriage is what happens when two people who commit think they want to really tie them together. Gay people don't want marriage, they want equal rights. Comittment happens regardless of a contract.

Why do you want your unions tarnished with the word "marriage?"
