I donated $20. It's not much but it'll help. It's a shame that Providence is prioritizing politics over helping our most vulnerable, impoverished people here in Portland. Very Christ-like.
Does this mean Providence is also removing all phone books from their properties, as well as severing all access to the internet? Because I'm pretty sure you can find PP listed in those places, too.
My suggestion to the Church on this and similar problems is that they place a notice in the Resource that they do not support abortion, but that they do support the other human services in the Guide. They can also put ads offering their own pregnancy support services. They could cut the percentage of funding in accordance with the percentage of abortions done at Planned Parenthood, but continue to fund the Resource.
