For the second year in a row Brandon Roy has been named to the All-NBA Third Team. Not bad for a guy who missed 17 games and was severely hampered by a hamstring injury and a torn meniscus.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy was named to the 2009-10 All-NBA Third Team, the NBA announced today.
Roy, named to the All-NBA Second Team in 2008-09, becomes the third Trail Blazer in franchise history to earn multiple All-NBA Team honors, joining Clyde Drexler (four) and Bill Walton (two). He is the only Trail Blazer to be named to both the All-Rookie Team and All-NBA Team during his career.

For him to step back on the court only eight days after knee surgery is a true reflection of just the kind of player and person he is and how badly he wants to win.”
