Well that wasn’t fun.

Last night the NBA’s finest young team showed a glimpse of their awe-inspiring potential… too bad that team wasn’t the Portland Trail Blazers. Instead it was the Oklahoma City Thunder, who easily dispatching the Blazers by a score of 89-77. It was the lowest point total for an exhausted Blazers team that has battled injuries and a difficult schedule that has them playing more games than any other team in the NBA.

If that wasn’t enough, Portland has one more game, a back-to-back on the road in Phoenix tonight. Just in case you think Portland has enough will to stroll out of Phoenix with a victory, keep in mind that the Suns have won nine consecutive games over Portland on their homecourt. It’s going to be a long All-Star break.

Man, they play more games than anyone else? That DOES seem to be a pretty difficult schedule.
