Last night the Portland Blazers lost a big game on national television to a clearly superior Denver Nuggets team, and… wait, what? Andre Miller dunked the ball? Without a trampoline?
Woah. Where did that come from? Miller hasn’t dunked in about three years, so this highlight is about as rare as a clutch time basket from LaMarcus Aldridge (burn!) or a Portland victory in Denver. Highflying Miller aside, the Nuggets played nearly a perfect game last night, flirting with a 70% shooting percentage before eventually finishing with an impressive 59% from the field and a 118-106 victory. While Portland’s three game win streak was a reason to get optimistic, Denver made is abundantly clear that they are the team to beat in the Northwest Division. While Portland might be a playoff team, the Blazers have a long way to go before they can contend with the Nuggets.
Yeah, but did you see that Miller dunk?

Insane. So why doesn’t he leave the ground when he shoots a “jump shot?”
CHAKA-BOOYEAH!
kind of looked like he had a big smile on his face during the dunk.
That was totally awesome and made the game for me. I knew we would lose anyway, so seeing Dre nail that impressive dunk just made it all worthwhile.
He never even leaves the ground when he shoots the rare three pointer!
The real props was from the assist. He turned around and threw it half the court perfectly.
