Well folks, this is the last weekend before the Holiday Season officially begins and your options for entertainment become thematically homogenized. So I recommend you seize this fleeting opportunity to see some thought-provoking, bold, affordable, non-holiday live theater while you can.
Stage Left Lost
Imago Theatre, 17 SE 8th, 231-9581, imagotheatre.com, $10-12, Thurs-Sat 7:30 pm and Sun 2 pm. Through Nov 21.
Chesapeake
Theater! Theatre!, 3430 SE Belmont, profiletheatre.org, $15-28, Wed-Sat 7:30 pm and Sun 2 pm, through Nov 21.
Heart Beatings
CoHo Theater, 2257 NW Raleigh, 220-2646, cohoproductions.org, $10-25, Thurs-Sat, 8 pm, through Nov 20.
Medusa
Eff Space, 333 NE Hancock, 839-9075, theworkingtheatrecollective.com, $10-15, Thurs-Sat 8 pm, through Nov 20.

I have some friends in the cast, but that said, I really liked Medusa. Small, creepy and sweet. Great fall theater.
