Here is a picture of Jesse Graff (who plays Spock in Trek in the Park’s current offering “Mirror, Mirror”) eating pizza and wearing a bib.

Oh! That reminds me! Trek in the Park (in which I get to play a goddamn hippie peacenik alien) is in its FINAL TWO WEEKENDS. And if you’re smart, you will see it either this Saturday or Sunday at 5 pm at Woodlawn Park. Why this weekend? Because this show is usually wicked crowded—however! This weekend roughly 80% of all Portland nerds are at Comic-Con, which means you might find a decent seat if you show up early. Next weekend? Forget about it. You’ll be lucky to get within 50 yards if you arrive any later than 4 pm. SO COME THIS WEEKEND!!

Bang bang, choo-choo train, let me see you shake that thang. Wm. Steven Humphrey is the editor-in-chief of the Portland Mercury and has held the job since 2000. (So don’t get any funny ideas.)

One reply on “Spock… Wearing a Bib?!?”

  1. A Vulcan wouldn’t feeling any shame at wearing a bib; that wouldn’t be logical. And those dress uniforms are a bitch to clean.
