Courtesy of EW, here’s your first look at Adrianne Palicki in her new Wonder Woman costume, debuting this fall.

Okay, stop staring at her breasts. Seriously, stop. Okay, fine: stare at her breasts. I agree, they’re magnificent.

FINISHED? Good. Now, how are you feeling about the rest of the costume? I’m preferring the skin-tight leggings over the traditional “star spangle panties” look. On the other hand, there’s a “Mr. Costumes” element going on here that’s a bit distasteful, and oh, I don’t know… cheap looking? BUT! On the other other hand, I’m need to excuse myself to go mstrb8. Because… well, you know. BOOBS.

I trust you’ll continue this conversation regarding the pros and cons of this outfit during my absence.

Bang bang, choo-choo train, let me see you shake that thang. Wm. Steven Humphrey is the editor-in-chief of the Portland Mercury and has held the job since 2000. (So don’t get any funny ideas.)

  1. But…but…now they can’t have “in her satin tights, fighting for our rights” in the theme song! That sucks! “In her latex bodysuit, for her to win we root,” no, no, it’s just not the same.

Speaking of “but,” no rear views released yet?

I typed “stain tights” at first, but that’s a phrase from the Wm.™ Steven Humphrey theme song, if I’m not mistaken.

  2. Am I the only one who didn’t hate the Wonder Woman costume redesign from last year? You know, the one where she was wearing a jacket and actual pants? It looked semi-practical and less ridiculous, but everyone seemed to loathe it.
