Welcome back from your long weekend, everybody. Now before we go any further, I need to make one thing very clear: I AM NOT HERE TO MAKE FRIENDS. I’m here to work, I’m here to put out a newspaper-y and bloggy thing, and I’m here to WIN. But “friends”? I don’t need ’em. I’ve got plenty of friends back home. Right now I want to focus on what’s important — and that’s winning this competition and not making friends. If I accidentally make a friend? Well… that’s cool, I suppose. BUT I AM NOT HERE TO MAKE FRIENDS!!

Here is a compilation of reality show clips featuring people who are in complete agreement with myself and each other that THEY ARE NOT HERE TO MAKE FRIENDS.

Tip o’ the hat to Four Four.

Bang bang, choo-choo train, let me see you shake that thang. Wm. Steven Humphrey is the editor-in-chief of the Portland Mercury and has held the job since 2000. (So don’t get any funny ideas.)

  1. I’m here to make friends. I’m just very awkward about it.

Anyone who’s ready “I Love TV” over the past several years already knows what W™SH is here to make.
