Our own Dan Savage is the creator and executive producer behind one of the more anticipated sitcoms of the season, The Real O’Neals, debuting tonight on ABC at 8:30 pm. Here’s the plot synopsis from Warming Glow:
A normal Irish Catholic family tries to cope with the fact that its parents are divorcing, its one son has an eating disorder and its other is gay in the series premiere of ABC’s new familial sitcom. Oh, and it probably would have been easier to do all of those things without announcing those newsflashes at a public event.
It stars the always excellent Martha Plimpton and Jay R. Ferguson, which in and of itself is reason for celebration. Check out the trailer!
