Erik mostly liked X-Men: Days of Future Past which debuts this weekend (read the review here)—but what if you don’t have time in your busy schedule to watch baby movies? Check out this much shorter, and far superior version of the X-Men as performed by the very funny Pete Holmes as Professor X, and the also very funny Rob Huebel as Magneto who engage in a “burn war” to end all “burn wars.” (Ouch! Bring some salve!)

UPDATE: Ha! Ha! Funny sketch, Pete! Oh… and by the way? Your show’s cancelled.

  1. What a perfect skit, completely ruined because Professor X does NOT have telekinesis. He’s only a telepath. 2/10, would not watch.

  4. God damn television. Bummed for the cancellation. the 30 min format fit his style and goofy sense of humor (and everyone’s attention span) so perfectly. Maybe IFC can pick it up??? please??
