Already sick of the hype about The Walking Dead? Okay, okay, fair enough—but before you tune me out, check out these amazing, fan-created opening titles for the upcoming AMC show. These credits are better than, ehh… [pulls out nerd calculator, jabs repeatedly at “zombie” and “Saul Bass” buttons] about 95.28 percent of all opening credits these days.

I imagine this video’s currently being watched over and over around the AMC offices, its light playing upon a whole lot of impressed/unhappy faces. This is a Mad Men-quality opening, and I have to agree with Topless Robot: “Seriously, AMC, just call this dude. I can almost guarantee you he’d give you the rights for free, and I sincerely doubt whatever credits you have planned will be any better.”
