In this episode of Saturday Morning Cartoon, let’s check out the greatest hits of one of the most unintentionally hilarious toons of all time, Chuck Norris: Karate Kommandos! From Wikipedia:

This fictionalized version of Norris is a United States government operative with a team of “radically diverse” warriors. The team includes Pepper, a technology expert and mechanic; Reed, Chuck’s young apprentice and Pepper’s brother; Kimo, a samurai; Tabe, a sumo champion; and Too Much, a young ward. Together, they fight against The Claw and his right-hand man, Super Ninja.

Hmm… if by “radically diverse,” they mean a wee be racist-y, then sure! “Radically Diverse!” While enduring an entire episode of this show is a bit much, the following “greatest moments’ clip reel is a sheer joy. Enjoy, and don’t forget to purchase the accompanying action figures!

Bang bang, choo-choo train, let me see you shake that thang. Wm. Steven Humphrey is the editor-in-chief of the Portland Mercury and has held the job since 2000. (So don’t get any funny ideas.)

  1. ~5:33 “Those apples,” indeed!

“Sorry guys, this is an emergency. I’m Chuck Norris,” in the same flat monotone usually reserved for court-ordered PSA’s.

That was hard enough to endure. I can only imagine (though I’d rather not) the horror of an entire episode.
