One of the networks that hasn’t been yanked off my DirecTV is the HUB network, which I kind of love because it features a bunch of great kid TV such as Jem and the Holograms, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (which is actually pretty good, guys!), Fraggle Rock, and most recently Alf! And it’s also featuring a Batman: The Animated Series marathon starting this Friday. (YAY!) Check out this fun parody in which HUB remakes The Dark Knight Rises trailer using voices and clips from Batman: The Animated Series. IT KINDA WORKS, and I’d KINDA WATCH IT.

IN MY MIND,’ BATMAN: TAS’ IS THE DEFINITIVE VERSION OF BATMAN (GRANTED THE SERIES WAS PLAYING FOR THE FIRST TIME JUST AS I WAS BECOMING A TEENAGER). THERE’S BEEN SOME INDIVIDUAL COMIC ARCS THAT COME CLOSE TO BEING AS GOOD AS THE BTAS, BUT MAN…. EVERYTHING ABOUT BTAS IS SO FUCKING GOOD!!!
