Boycott FB, and the other inflammatory corporate billionaires who rake off of you through compliant participation. The next time you feel upset about the things you are reading on an (anti)social platform – remember you can log off or delete your virtual avatar, and get your $ back in the form of time and emotional energy. Protest #irl. Maybe you could just check the Portland Mercury for news and support independent media/journalism 🙂
Boycott big corps! Bring actual punk back
I agree and have already done this to one degree or another. The problem is that most people can’t take the FOMO. IF someone were able to hand them an alternative, especially one that donated all proceeds to social causes, it would have some real traction at a time like this. It is so sad to see an entire generation enslaved by their phones. If this is the route we have to go, FFS let’s drop the infested childish nightmare scape that is FB. Can someone please get on this? A sense of urgency perhaps?
