I feel as if I haven’t sung the praises of Censored Colors–the glorious new recording from the local boys in Portugal the Man–as much as I should have. Sure to find a home on my year end best-of list, the album is difficult to pin down under any one genre, yet it still feels cohesive throughout. And now they have a video!

This well-shot clip for “Lay Me Back Down” feels like it took place in a parallel universe to Land of the Lost. Granted, there are no dinosaurs, or Sleestaks, present–they blew their production budget on those bikinis and gold paint–there is some sort of hologram man, with a stick. And a rock.

Only Cha-Ka can save them now.

End Hits: We can’t get this theme song out of our head.
